What is Kundli?
Draft — page expanding
Kundli (Sanskrit: kuṇḍalī, “coil”) is the Vedic natal chart, cast from the date, time, and place of birth onto the sidereal zodiac. It is the fixed map of what a person was born into: the Lagna (ascendant) as the 1st-house cusp around which the twelve Bhava rotate, the Moon’s Rashi as the mind’s home, the nine Navagrahas in sign and house at once, and the Moon’s nakshatra setting the origin of the Vimshottari Dasha, the 120-year planetary season. The Navamsha (D-9), each sign divided into nine, is the inner chart, a second look at the nine functions matured. A Kundli is read in two motions: the fixed constitution, and the timed focus of the current dasha and transits. Doshas such as Mangal and Nadi are the chart’s friction markers, named as questions to work with, not verdicts to fear. In Divination Nexus the Kundli is the natal layer: what the user was born into, before any day, transit, or question.

What job does it do?
Chart. Epistemic badge: constitutional.
What is traditional, and what is our interpretive layer?
Traditional: the birth chart cast on the sidereal zodiac — Lagna, twelve Bhava, nine Navagrahas, the Navamsha D-9 divisional chart, the Vimshottari Dasha periods, and the dosha placement rules. Interpretive: the Divination Nexus layer that holds each dosha as a question to work with, not a verdict, and narrates the whole chart as a map, not a sentence.

What is it not?
It is not a tropical Western natal wheel. It is not a fake cast from a date unless the engine is honestly computational. Harm-capable historic verdicts are documented, not performed.
